After devoting the past two years to solitary retreat, in December, Lama Alan will take a short break to travel to Taiwan to present the keynote lecture “Fathom the Mind. Heal the World: A Buddhist Response to the Current Metacrisis” for the one-day, in-person Global Symposium for Common Goodness, sponsored by the Tzu Chi Charity Foundation. This year’s topic will be Buddhism and Science. Immediately upon his return to Miyo Samten Ling, Lama Alan will recommence his retreat, with the next phase beginning on Dec. 21st, the winter solstice, and ending on June 20th, 2025, the summer solstice.
During his retreat Lama Alan has offered regular public talks from the Center for Contemplative Research in Crestone, Colorado. You may register to receive these free public teachings here.
