In his instruction manual entitled The Illumination of Primordial Consciousness H. H. Dudjom Rinpoche, Jigdral Yeshe Dorje, presents concise, complete guidance on practices of śamatha and vipaśyanā within the context of the view, meditation, and conduct of the Great Perfection.
During this six-day retreat, Lama Alan Wallace will offer an oral transmission and commentary on these pith instructions, which he received from his primary Dzogchen Lama Gyatrul Rinpoche thirty-one years ago.
The retreat will consist of a line-by-line commentary on the manual itself, interspersed with background teachings from the Lake-Born Vajra, the Speech Emanation of Padmasambhava, to Dudjom Lingpa, who was Dudjom Rinpoche’s previous incarnation.
